The Edmonton Safeway Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is just around the corner on September 4, 2010 at Gold Bar Park beginning at 11am. Come out and support Edmonton area individuals and families who are affected by muscular dystrophy. Walk, run, wheel or roll – just be there! Not only is the Walk fully accessible, there’s food, refreshments, and door prizes too! Invite everyone you know to team up with you – this is a great way to get out and get your muscles moving with your family and friends, while sharing the firefighter community spirit.

The Safeway Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is another way that Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, the Edmonton Firefighter Union Local 209 and the Edmonton Firefighter Retirees Brigade are teaming up to support our firefighter charity, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, and we welcome you, and your family’s, involvement.
